12/1/09 - St. Joseph 45, Coldwater 36 - at St. Joseph
Three Lady Bears scored in double figures as the Bears won their season opener on Tuesday, a 45-36 victory over Coldwater. Katie Mavis had 13, Erika Priebe scored 12, and Lindsay Peirce added 10. The Lady Bears never trailed as St. Joe held the Cardinals to just 12 points in the first half.

12/4/09 - St. Joseph 65, Kalamazoo Loy Norrix 62 - at St. Joseph
The Lady Bears used a 22-12 run in the third quarter and and basket by Jaz Williams with just over 30 seconds remaining to defeat Kalamazoo Loy Norrix 65-62.  Erika Priebe had 19 points to lead the Bears, Katie Mavis scored 18, and Lindsay Peirce added 16 points.  The Lady Bears are now 2-0 on the season.

12/8/09 - St. Joseph 49, Edwardsburg 44 - at Edwardsburg
The Lady Bears had to rally from a 7 point halftime deficit to pull out a 49-44 come from behind victory at Edwardsburg. Katie Mavis had a game high 17 points while freshman Erika Priebe had 15 points for the 3-0 Lady Bears. St. Joe outscored the Eddies 12-1 at the free throw line.

12/11/09 - Niles 62, St. Joseph 56 - at St. Joseph
The Vikings transition game was held mostly in check during the first half of the game but a 26-17 third quarter advantage for Niles was a little too much for the Lady Bears to overcome in the final quarter.  Freshman Christina Valentine had a career high 20 points for St. Joe, while Katie Mavis had 17 and Erika Priebe scored 11.

12/18/09 - St. Joseph 59, Kalamazoo Central 58 - at Kalamazoo Central
Christina Valentine's three point basket from the left corner with 10 seconds left gave the Lady Bears a 59-58 win at Kalamazoo Central.  The Lady Bears erased a 6 point deficit with 2:00 left for the win.  Erika Priebe had 19 points to lead St. Joe, Valentine had 17, and Katie Mavis had 11 points.  For the game, St. Joe hit 21 of 29 free throws.

1/5/10 - St. Joseph 63, Sturgis 49 - at St. Joseph
After a tight first quarter, St. Joseph used a 37-20 scoring advantage in the second and third quarter to help pull away from Sturgis and defeat the Trojans 63-49. St. Joe's Katie Mavis was one of four Bears in double figures as the junior guard scored 20 points, sophomore Lindsay Peirce had 12, while freshmen Erika Priebe had 12 and Jaz Williams scored 10. Sturgis got 20 points from senior MacKenzie Adams, scoring 18 of her 20 points in the first half, but St. Joe's second half defensive effort held her to just a late fourth quarter bucket. St. Joe improves to 5-1 on the season, while Sturgis falls to 2-5.

1/8/10 - Benton Harbor 66, St. Joseph 44 - at St. Joseph
Christina Valentine scored 17 points and Lindsay Peirce scored 15 points but the Bears lost a hard fought game to defending Class A state champion Benton Harbor 66-44 at the Bear Den.  The Tigers forced 28 turnovers by the Bears and never trailed after being down 6-5 in the 1st quarter

1/15/10 - St. Joseph 49, Lakeshore 38 - at St. Joseph
The Bears used a quick start in the first quarter and never trailed as the Lady Bears beat Lakeshore 49-38 at the Bear Den.  Christina Valentine scored a game high 14 points while Katie Mavid added 11 points for St. Joe.

1/19/10 - St. Joseph 61, Battle Creek Harper Creek 56 - St. Joseph
t. Joe had three players in double figures as the Lady Bears were unable to pull away at the end for a 61-56 win over Harper Creek. The Bears and Beavers were tied at the end of the first quarter (14-14), St. Joe took a one point advantage into the half at 27-26. Harper Creek would tie the game in the third quarter before the Bears pulled away late.  Junior Katie Mavis had a game high 20 points to lead St. Joe (7-2), Sophomore LeAnne Priebe scored 18 points in her season debut, and Freshman Erika Priebe scored 13 to lead St. Joe.

1/22/10 - St. Joseph 57, Mattawan 45 - at Mattawan
St. Joe turned a 2 point halftime deficit around by outscoring the host Wildcats 33-18 in the second half St. Joseph won their third straight game by the score of 57-45 over Mattawan.  Katie Mavis and Erika Priebe scored 16 points for St. Joseph while LeAnne Priebe turned in a strong first half performance and finished with 14 points as the Bears improved to 2-2 in the West Division.

1/26/10 - St. Joseph 72, Buchanan 39 - at Buchanan
The Lady Bears jumped out to an early and big lead as the St. Joe beat Buchanan 72-39 on the road.  St. Joe pulled out to a 23-6 lead after the first quarter.  Every Lady Bear player scored as Katie Mavis led all scorers with 17 points and Christina Valentine had 12 points for St. Joe who improved to 9-2 on the season.

1/29/10 - Benton Harbor 59, St. Joseph 55 - OT - at Benton Harbor
St. Joe led for virtually the entire game, except when the final horn sounded as St. Joe couldn't hold a 15 point lead in the second half as St. Joe lost to Benton Harbor 59-55 in overtime. LeAnne Priebe scored 14 points for St. Joe while Katie Mavis and Lindsay Peirce scored 11, and Erika Priebe had 10 for St. Joe

2/2/10 - St. Joseph 55, Portage Northern 44 - at Portage Northern
St. Joe connected on 9 of 12 free throws in the final quarter and 19 of 26 during the game as the Lady Bears beat Portage Northern 55-44. Jaz Williams had 12 points to lead St. Joe, while LeAnne Priebe had 11 and Erika Priebe scored 10. St. Joe improves to 10-3 on the season.

2/5/10 - Mattawan 60, St. Joseph 45 - at St. Joseph
Mattawan's girls jumped out to a 14-5 lead after the first quarter and kept the Bears and were able to pull away late after the Lady Bears cut the lead to 6 in the second half as the Wildcats beat St. Joseph 60-45. Katie Mavis had 15 points to lead St. Joe while LeAnne Priebe had 13 points for the Lady Bears. St. Joe is now 10-4 on the season.

2/8/10 - St. Joseph 65, Lake Michigan Catholic - at Lake Michigan Catholic
LeAnne Priebe scored 19 points and sister Erika Priebe scored 11 points as the Lady Bears quieted down the "House of Noise" as the Lady Bears beat Lake Michigan Catholic 65-39. The Lady Bears led by as much as 30 points in the fourth quarter. Abby Sassano had 14 points to lead Lake Michigan Catholic.

2/12/10 - Portage Central 68, St. Joseph 66 - at St. Joseph
The Lady Bears jumped out to a 22-13 lead after the first quarter but Portage Central kept chipping away and finally took the lead in the final quarter as Portage Central beat St. Joe 68-66. Katie Mavis had 23 points to lead St. Joe, Erika Priebe had 17, and LeAnne Priebe scored 13 points. St. Joe falls to 11-5.

2/16/10 - Battle Creek Lakeview 79, St. Joseph 46 - at St. Joseph
Battle Creek Lakeview started the game fast and St. Joseph could not recover dropping the game to the Spartans 79-46. Lakeview (16-2) started the game on a 22-9 run and led 44-23 at the half. LeAnne Priebe led the Bears (11-6) with 15 points and Lesy Schalk chipped in eight points.

2/19/10 - St. Joseph 61, Lakeshore 51 - at Lakeshore
The Lady Bears took the lead less than 10 seconds into the game and never let go as St. Joe beat Lakeshore 61-51. Katie Mavis and LeAnne Priebe each had 15 points in the win for St. Joe. The Lady Bears have now won three straight against Lakeshore.

2/23/10 - St. Joseph 45, Bridgman 20 - at Bridgman
The Lady Bears beat Bridgman for the third consecutive season as the Lady Bears defeated the Bees 45-20 at Bridgman high school.  Jaz Williams had 11 points to lead the Bears and Erika Priebe scored 10 for St. Joe, who improve to 13-6 on the season.

2/26/10 - Niles 69, St. Joseph 52 - at Niles
The Lady Bears beat Bridgman for the third consecutive season as the Lady Bears defeated the Bees 45-20 at Bridgman high school.  Jaz Williams had 11 points to lead the Bears and Erika Priebe scored 10 for St. Joe, who improve to 13-6 on the season.
